Firstred 2021 Annual General Meeting

On February 18, 2022, Hualan Biological Bacterin (SZSE: 301207), a Firstred portfolio company since March 2020, was successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, raising c.RMB 2.3bn in proceeds. 

Founded in 2005, Hualan Biological Bacterin is a subsidiary of A-share listed Hualan Biological Engineering (SZSE: 002007). As the first Chinese company to launch quadrivalent influenza vaccine (split virion, inactivated), Hualan Biological Bacterin ranks first by market share among both quadrivalent influenza vaccine and influenza vaccine manufacturers. Other products undergoing clinical trials or approval processes include multivalent/combined vaccine for pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus and etc. As a publicly listed company, the Company will continue to focus on research and innovation, broaden product line and enhance market position.

Firstred 2020 Annual General Meeting

Firstred announced the final close of its debut M&A fund, with RMB 6.8bn of total capital commitments. Firstred invests primarily in buy & build opportunities with a focus on new economy industries including industrial & technology, healthcare, and consumer.

The limited partners of the fund are institutional investors including insurance companies, fund of funds and blue-chip corporates and founders. Firstred Capital will seek to deliver attractive returns and opportunity for ongoing strategic cooperation to its partners.
